Shoval Rose--Student Intern in Palm Beach Gardens, FL

I believe that healing begins when we feel truly seen, heard, and understood. My passion for counseling comes from a deep curiosity about the human experience and a genuine desire to help people reconnect with themselves, find meaning in their struggles, and create lasting change in their lives.

I enjoy working with adults and young adults navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and difficulties with self-worth and emotional well-being. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I believe that many of the patterns we struggle with developed as ways to protect ourselves, and that healing involves understanding these patterns with curiosity rather than judgment.

When working with me, you can expect a warm, authentic, and supportive space where you are encouraged to show up exactly as you are. I value meaningful connection and believe therapy should be a place where you feel both supported and gently challenged toward growth.

I am fluent in both English and Hebrew, and I am grateful to be part of Caring Therapists, where I can continue supporting others on their journey toward healing.

What can I expect in my first few sessions with you?

The first few sessions are really about getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and creating a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely heard. I believe that building a trusting relationship is one of the most important parts of the healing process, so there is no pressure to share everything right away.  Together, we will explore your experiences, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I am especially interested in understanding not just what you're struggling with, but what may be underneath those struggles.  My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I will meet you where you are, without judgment, while also gently encouraging reflection and growth. Therapy is not about fixing you, but about helping you understand yourself more deeply, recognize your strengths, and move toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.

What makes you different from other therapists, psychologists, ARNPs?

I think what makes my approach different is that I genuinely love understanding people and what makes them who they are. I'm naturally curious about the deeper reasons behind our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and I believe there's often so much more to someone's struggles than what we see on the surface.  Before becoming a counselor, I spent five years supporting people through some of their most vulnerable and transformative experiences. That taught me how powerful it can be to simply have someone who is willing to sit with you, truly listen, and understand your experience without judgment.  I don't believe people need to be fixed. I believe that many of the patterns we struggle with developed for a reason, often as ways to protect ourselves or cope with difficult experiences. I'm passionate about helping people understand those parts of themselves with compassion rather than shame.  I bring warmth, honesty, and my authentic self into the room. I want therapy to feel like a genuine human connection, where you can be yourself, feel understood, and also be challenged to grow in meaningful ways.

What inspired you to become a therapist, psychologist or medication management provider?

My passion for becoming a therapist was deeply inspired by my own personal journey of healing. Through my experiences, I came to understand just how much our past, our relationships, and the things we've been through can shape the way we see ourselves and navigate the world. I also discovered how much healing is possible when we begin to understand ourselves with compassion rather than judgment.  Going through my own healing journey sparked something in me. It gave me a deep desire to walk alongside others as they navigate their own pain, discover who they are beneath their struggles, and begin to experience freedom from patterns that may have held them back for years.  I know how powerful it can be to feel truly seen, heard, and understood, especially in our most vulnerable moments. That is something I want to offer others. For me, becoming a therapist is so much more than a career. It comes from a genuine love for people, a belief in their capacity to heal, and a heart to serve others as they find their own way toward healing and growth.
