Miranda Essa - Therapist in Orlando, FL

I've worked in residential and outpatient settings, working closely with those struggling with motivation, life changes, anxiety, depression, or difficulty aligning choices with what truly matters. I love to help people who are unsure where to start and can work together to uncover how these challenges impact your identity. I can provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely heard and validated, while also being challenged to grow. We can work together to better understand your values, reduce internal barriers, and move closer to living a life that feels meaningful and authentic for you.

I provide an affirming and supportive space for teens and adults navigating identity, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and communication challenges. My approach is collaborative—we work together to explore your experiences, build insight, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

What can I expect in my first few sessions with you?

For our first couple of sessions Ill b asking a lot about you, your history, and your future goals. We will then work collaboratively to agree on priorities and start identifying the skills needed to reach those goals.

What makes you different from other therapists?

I bring a safe and affirming space while challenging you at the same time and bringing in humor

What inspired you to become a therapist?

I always wanted to help people, but that didnt mean I wanted to be a therapist. I actually wanted to be a physical therapist where I could see the healing right in front of me. However, once I took a psychology class, I realized there are ways to help people heal and grow and see the difference I could make for people internally
