Faith Townsend, LMHC - Therapist in Port Orange, FL

Introduction

Life's challenges can feel overwhelming, but seeking support is a courageous step toward healing and growth. I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment where clients can explore concerns, build resilience, and improve their overall well-being. Using a client-centered approach, I honor each person's unique experiences, strengths, and goals. My aim is to help clients feel heard, valued, and empowered as they navigate life's difficulties, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change on their journey toward personal growth and healing.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and foster care or adoption-related challenges. Together, we identify obstacles affecting daily life and develop practical coping skills to promote healing, resilience, emotional well-being, and lasting personal growth in a supportive, compassionate environment.

If you are seeking a caring, approachable, and compassionate therapist, I am here to help. I am passionate about supporting individuals through life's challenges and believe everyone deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive. You matter, and I am committed to helping you achieve your personal goals.

What can I expect in my first few sessions with you?

During our first few initial sessions, we will work on building our relationship, examine the issues at hand and work together creating a plan that will help you get your life back.

What makes you different from other therapists, psychologists, ARNPs?

I would like to think what makes me different is that I am patient, nonjudgmental, and truly only have your best interests at heart. I am not here to rush or force you into therapy or into talking about things you aren't ready for, I'm patient. When you are ready, I will be here waiting and I will help you through what ever you are going through, without judgment.

What inspired you to become a therapist, psychologist or medication management provider?

I decded to become a therapist because I truly wanted to help people at a level that I felt really mattered. I saw so many people not happy or struggling with their mental health and I knew I could help them.
