What can I expect in my first few sessions with?

During our first few sessions together, we will take time to get know each other, make sure you feel comfortable, and talk about what brought you into therapy as well as your goals. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your story, but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. We will start working and exploring the issues that are most important to you, and establish a plan to address all your goals for therapy.

What makes you different from other therapists?

I take a collaborative and practical approach, focusing on your strengths while helping you navigate and reach the goals you have set for yourself. My goal is to give you tools that work in real life and a space where you feel supported and empowered.

What inspired you to become a therapist?

I was inspired to become a therapist through my own experiences with challenge and change. At different points in my life, therapy has been a useful tool for me. These experiences showed me how powerful it is to have a safe, supportive space — and it inspired me to create that space for others as a therapist.
