What can I expect in my first few sessions with?

In our first few sessions together, you can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you are truly heard. I’ll meet you exactly where you are emotionally and mentally, and we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable and safe for you. Together, we’ll begin exploring your concerns, goals, and strengths, while building trust and understanding. These early sessions are about creating a strong foundation for our work, clarifying what you want to achieve, and identifying the tools and strategies that will support your growth and healing. My goal is to ensure you feel supported every step.

What makes you different from other therapists?

What sets me apart from other therapists is my ability to bring authenticity and relatability into the therapy room. I’m not just a mental health therapist—I’m also someone who understands the value of humor, connection, and being real. I can take a joke, share a laugh, and create a safe space that feels human, not clinical or intimidating. My approach blends professional expertise with genuine warmth and down-to-earth communication, so you feel comfortable opening up. I believe healing happens when you can be yourself, and I strive to model that authenticity in every session. This is why the most important goal for me as your therapist is for you to feel like you can trust me and that you can talk to me about anything.

What inspired you to become a therapist?

What inspired me to become a mental health therapist was my own curiosity and desire to better understand both my struggles and the people around me. Through my own experiences, I realized how powerful it can be to have someone truly listen and guide you without judgment. I wanted to take that knowledge and training and turn it into a way to help others feel supported, understood, and empowered. Becoming a therapist allows me to walk alongside people on their journeys, offering tools, perspective, and encouragement. My goal is to help others grow, heal, and find strength in their own stories. You can always count that when you’re on my couch, you are seen, you are accepted, and you are celebrated.
