What can I expect in my first few sessions with?

In our first few sessions, my goal is to get to know you, not just your symptoms, but your story, your strengths, and what you hope to achieve through treatment. I’ll take time to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and work with you to create a personalized plan that feels manageable and aligned with your goals. You can expect a balance of structure and compassion, where we review your history, discuss what’s working and what’s not, and begin laying the foundation for meaningful change.

What makes you different from other PMHNP?

I approach care with the belief that treatment is not “one-size-fits-all.” My style combines evidence-based strategies with a collaborative, down-to-earth approach so you feel heard and respected at every step. I also bring a holistic perspective to care, which allows me to treat the whole person rather than just isolated symptoms. Clients often tell me they appreciate my ability to explain things in a clear, approachable way.

What inspired you to become a PMHNP?

I was inspired to enter this field by a deep belief in the power of mental health care to transform lives. Throughout my experiences, I saw how stigma, limited access, and misunderstanding often kept people from getting the help they deserved. That motivated me to become a provider who not only delivers high-quality, evidence-based care, but also creates a safe and supportive space where people feel comfortable opening up and taking steps toward healing. Helping people discover resilience and move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives is what continues to inspire my work every day.
