Samantha Corpus - Therapist in Davie, FL

Congratulations on taking the first step toward healing and personal growth. My name is Samantha Corpus, and I’m a therapist who shows up as a real, relatable human—someone who listens without judgment and meets you exactly where you are. I work with teens, young adults, and adults who are navigating challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship stress, and major life transitions. Clients can expect a safe, supportive environment where they feel seen and understood. I take time to learn who you are as a whole person and tailor interventions that truly fit your life. My approach blends compassion with practical, evidence-based strategies—from cognitive-behavioral tools to mindfulness techniques—to help you better understand your emotions, build coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. I’m passionate about working here because this setting allows me to do what I value most: help people feel heard, validated, and empowered. I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative, authentic, and focused on your unique journey. If you’re ready to take the next step toward becoming the best version of yourself, I’m here to support you—change begins with you.

What can I expect in my first few sessions with?

In our first few sessions, my focus is on getting to know you. This is to help learn about your your strengths and the challenges you're facing. We'll take time to explore what's bringing you in, how it's affecting your life, and what you hope to get out of therapy. Together, we'll begin to clarify your goals and create a path forward that feels meaningful and manageable. These early sessions are also a chance for you to get a feel for me and ensure we are a good fit.

What makes you different from other Therapist

I tend to be direct and warm. Clients often tell me they appreciate that they can count on honesty, empathy, and a sense of humor in our work together. I believe therapy can be both meaningful and enjoyable, and I strive to make our time feel engaging, collaborative, and genuinely helpful. I have specialized training in trauma, eating disorders, OCD and anxiety, as well as sleep disorders, which allows me to tailor treatment to your unique needs using evidence-based approaches. Above all, I aim to create a space where you feel understood, challenged, and supported as you move toward meaningful change.

What inspired you to become a Therapist?

I've always been passionate about mental health and the impact it has on every part of our lives. From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a therapist or psychologist so I can help make a real difference in people’s lives. Becoming a psychologist felt like a natural path because it combines my interest in human behavior with my passion for supporting others through meaningful change. I’m continually inspired by the strength and resilience people bring to therapy, and I feel honored to be part of that journey.
