David Gala - Therapist in Pembroke Pines, FL

Introduction

Hello, I am David Gala, your friendly neighborhood mental health therapist. As a mental health professional, I am committed to creating a safe and empathetic space for clients to discover themselves and work on presenting concerns.

With a compassionate and non-judgmental approach, I aim to collaboratively navigate the challenges you face while focusing on your personal growth and well-being.

What can I expect in my first few sessions with?

Our first few sessions are really about getting to know each other. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out, we’ll talk, explore what’s been going on for you, and begin building a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported. I’ll listen without judgment, and we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you. This time is yours.

What makes you different from other therapists?

I show up as a real person who is compassionate, open, and genuinely here for you. I care deeply about people and create a space where you can be fully yourself, without fear of judgment. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, hence our work together will be based on what you need, with respect for your experiences, values, and pace. You’re not just a “client” to me, you’re a human being with a story that matters.

What inspired you to become a therapist?

I’ve always felt a strong pull to be there for others in a deep, meaningful way. I believe in the power of connection, and I know how healing it can be to feel truly understood. Becoming a therapist was a natural path for me, it's how I can live out my care for others and support people through the hard, beautiful, and messy parts of being human.
