Larissa Lee, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Introduction

Hi, my name is Larissa, and I provide a safe and supportive space for children, teens, and adults to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I believe healing and growth looks different for everyone, and I strive to meet each client where they are with compassion, respect, and authenticity.

I work with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, trauma, depression, life transitions, family dynamics, self-esteem, and emotional regulation. With children, I often incorporate play-based therapy, while with teens and adults I may use approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based techniques. For those who wish, I also welcome spiritual exploration as part of the healing process.

My passion is to help clients feel heard, understood, and empowered as they build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful changes that lead to a more balanced, fulfilling life.

What can I expect in my first few sessions with?

In our first few sessions, my focus will be on getting to know you—your story, your interests, and what matters most to you. Together, we’ll begin identifying the goals you’d like to work toward. This time is about building a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

What makes you different from other, ARNPs?

I adapt my approach to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. No matter your background or life experience, you can trust that I’m here to advocate for you and support your well-being. I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I’m always willing to learn and find them alongside you.

What inspired you to become a medication management provider?

I’ve always been drawn to helping others in meaningful ways. My passion lies in serving people, and through this work, I’ve found joy in walking alongside individuals as they create the lives they desire and develop lifelong skills for growth and resilience.
