Jeannette Balboni -Therapist in Port Orange, FL

Welcome! I am a licensed therapist and proud military spouse. I provide compassionate support for children, teens, and adults, with a special focus on helping adolescents navigate the unique challenges of growing up. I have experience working with anxiety, mood-related concerns, parent–child relationship difficulties, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and the many social, academic, and life stressors that can impact teens and families.

I began my professional career as a teacher, which shaped my belief in the power of education, connection, and individualized support. This foundation led me into the field of therapy, where I now provide one-on-one guidance to help clients better understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I have experience working in school settings, treating addiction, and supporting individuals as they work toward meaningful personal goals. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered. My primary goal is to meet clients where they are, create a safe and supportive environment, and work together toward growth, healing, and lasting change.

What can I expect in my first few sessions with you?

In our first few session, you can expect empathy and the opportunity to set goals that will help you reach your potential.

What makes you different from other therapists?

My experience as a military spouse and educator gives me a different insight on relationships and helping parents navigate the educational system.

What inspired you to become a therapist?

I come from a long line of people who are in the helping professions. I have family who are teachers, pastors, and nurses. I learned very early on the importance of building relationships and how beneficial those relationships can be to people.
