What can I expect in my first few sessions with?

We'll recognize (you) taking this step is a big deal, and my priority is creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported.

In our first session or two, I’ll invite you to share at your own pace about what brings you here, and I’ll be listening closely—not just to your words, but to the feelings and experiences behind them. You can also expect me to share a bit about how I work so that you have a clear sense of what therapy with me will look like.

We’ll begin to build a sense of direction together. That might mean talking about your hopes for therapy, identifying what feels most important to you right now, and setting some goals that feel both meaningful and doable. I’ll check in often to make sure the process feels right for you, because therapy works best when it’s a collaboration.

My hope is that you’ll leave our first few sessions with a sense of relief, clarity about where we’re headed, and the reassurance that you don’t have to navigate whatever brings you to therapy alone.

What makes you different from other therapists?

I seek to deeply attune to each client’s individual needs and experiences. Rather than relying on a single therapy style, I draw from a wide range of approaches—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gestalt therapy and mindfulness practices—while also integrating philosophy, spirituality, and transpersonal perspectives when they resonate. This eclectic approach allows me to meet you exactly where you are, weaving together practical tools with deeper explorations of meaning, purpose, and connection. My goal is to create a therapeutic experience that feels both grounded and expansive—helping you work through challenges while also nurturing your growth on emotional, mental, and even spiritual levels.

What inspired you to become a therapist?

My path to becoming a therapist began with my own journey of personal growth and healing. Along the way, I experienced firsthand the courage it takes to face ourselves honestly, and I developed a deep respect for the resilience of the human spirit. What continues to inspire me is the profound strength I see in people’s desire to grow, heal, and live more fully—no matter the challenges they’ve faced. I hold a deep reverence for the human heart and its capacity to seek, to love, and to transform. Becoming a therapist felt like a natural extension of this belief: a way to walk alongside others as they discover their own inner wisdom, strength, and possibilities.
