Michelle Weisz - Therapist in Davie, FL

Introduction

My name is Michelle Weisz, a therapist with deep roots in South Florida, where I’ve lived most of my life after immigrating from Caracas, Venezuela as a young child. I’m fluent in English and Spanish and committed to providing a safe, welcoming space for clients of diverse backgrounds.

I work with children, teens, and adults facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, compassionate, and grounded in a strength-based, person-centered framework. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and I work closely with each client to help them move toward meaningful goals at their own pace.

I’m passionate about supporting others through growth and healing—recognizing that the path looks different for everyone, and that’s what makes this work so meaningful.

What can I expect in my first few sessions with?

In our first few sessions together, you can expect a welcoming, supportive environment where you are encouraged to show up just as you are. My approach is collaborative and transparent; I’m here to support and guide, but you lead the way. I will be inviting your input and feedback to support that collaboration and honor your pace, whether that is diving right in or looking to find the words to start talking.

What makes you different from other therapists?

I’m fluent in both English and Spanish, and strive to have clients feel heard and supported. I provide a genuine, client-centered approach to tailor each session to who you are and what you need, whether that is through deep conversations, using mindful coloring to take the pressure off, or incorporating your interests.

What inspired you to become a therapist?

I've always been drawn to helping others and creating space for people to feel supported and that they are not alone. I love getting to know people on a deeper level and helping them recognize the strengths they already have within themselves.
