What can I expect in my first few sessions with?

During our first few sessions, the main focus will be on getting to know each other. This time is meant to help you feel comfortable while also allowing me to understand your strengths and the areas where you may need support. For kids, these sessions often involve playing games and activities, which help create a relaxed, welcoming environment and encourage open communication.

What makes you different from other psychologists?

In our work together, the focus won’t only be on the challenges or areas we’re assessing, but also on highlighting the many strengths you or your child brings. Throughout the process, I’ll be looking for the ways they show resilience, compassion, creativity, and perseverance. Recognizing these strengths is just as important as understanding areas of growth, because it gives us a fuller picture of who they are and helps guide how we support them best.

What inspired you to become a psychologist?

I’ve always felt a strong pull toward helping others. Becoming a psychologist allows me to truly connect with people, understand their stories, and support them in making meaningful changes in their lives. I love being able to walk alongside someone in their journey and see the growth, healing, and resilience that can come from that process.
