What can I expect in my first few sessions with?

I believe in the importance of meeting people where they are and providing a non-judgmental space where they feel supported and understood. My approach focuses on exploring and utilizing each person’s unique strengths as building blocks for growth and healing. By being solution-focused, I work collaboratively with clients to address the challenges that hold them back from living a more fulfilling life.

What inspired you to become a therapist?

My passion for therapy not only comes from my own personal life experiences, but also from being in various positions throughout life in which I found myself helping others and loving it. I have past experience as a youth program director for middle school and high school students for seven years, mentoring and counseling teens in a ministry setting, and then went on to work with adults in substance abuse and mental health treatment as a primary therapist for five years. The thing I love most about therapy is watching the progress that people make in their lives while working with them!
